Okay guys. . .I understand that there is price gouging going on but the actual toy hamsters are great! I gave these Zhu Zhu Pets Hamster Chunk and some of the accessories to five different children and they absolutely loved them! There are rumors of these toys being poisonous. Only one the dark brown hamster was in question and the FDA had a retest and determined that the company making the allegations of poison improperly tested therefore the FDA, satisfied that there is no risk) did not recall the toy. As for the allegations of these toys being dangerous, any toy (even the safest toy) can be a hazard under certain conditions. I would not purchase these toys for the three and under age group, as there are small parts and the wheels under the hamsters are strong and could pinch little fingers, but otherwise I think these toys are wonderful!
